我虽然不是特别有设计天分，但是整个合作的过程很愉快。可能是因为 Bonia 是由一个家庭从小做起，所以和他们合作很有一家人的感觉。每次上他们的公司，或好像上回一起吃饭时，都有一种很亲切的感觉。我曾经说过，很喜欢大家庭的那种凝聚力，而跟他们在一起，就让我有这种很舒服的感受。

Last Friday (12 Oct) was a day full of emotions for me. In the morning, I was bawling my eyes out with the rest of the cast of “A Path Of Gold”. Then in the afternoon was the Bonia fashion show, where I was really thrilled to be part of the Bonia brand once again! I was very tempted to sip the champagne in celebration, but somehow the glass didn’t come to me. *heehee*
And the long day ended with a bunch of fun-loving Jolliteers, who really brought sunshine in my heart even though it was nearly evening. Thank you all so much, for being so loving! *hugs & kisses*

Glad that all went well for you Joanne. Sorry again didn’t manage to stay on till you finish your Bonia show. Wanted to much to do so and talk to you but really can’t spare the time due to the Lasik Operation and working at night again… promised to be there for your next function! haha…
by the way you still wearing glasses or contacts or already you did Lasik to cure your short sightedness? Just asking.. I’m still pondering if I should have it Lasik and it will cost me S$3,400 for my pair of eyes… New pair of eyes for me? What do you think?

For me, I know there is a fan’s gathering, and I got time to spare, but my memory is quite bad. I forget the faces of the fans that run past me, and so I don’t know who they are now. Plus I am still plucking at the deep roots that bound me to the ground. Hee. It is not nice to approach anybody and ask questions like,” Are you a fan of Joanne?” Wait later I get send off by the security guards there Haha.
So I waited at the 2nd floor taka for 30 minutes until 5.30pm. In the end, I give up. Because i feel it is not nice to stalk, especially for a nice star like you Joanne.:)
So sorry for not going for the gathering. Think I still prefer to support you as one of the silent fans. But I still join the fan club (Already send email to Meiling), for I want to get to see photos of the fun moments from the fans, and keep in contact too.

Hmmm, I was trying to discern the place where the fans gathering occur, by inspecting the surroundings in all the fan’s gathering’s photos. Definitely, it is NOT Orchard Road, because the roads in the photos are quite empty, and the buildings are not shopping centers. Mmm, don’t tell me it is at the outside premises of Mediacorp? Cannot confirm because I have never gone there before, and don’t know how it looks like. 🙂

yah.. heard of the process from my girlfriend.. that day accompanied her to Singapore Medical Group Lasik at Paragon.. she told me of how they flab the cornea and stuffs like that… I still thinking… now they giving a discount too but promotion will be finishing at end of this month.. still abit scare when I hear that they will be using blade to cut the cornea flab and you can actually see what they’re doing… eeks!

Do you usually name all the cute soft toy animals you have? I have a close friend too, who also is a huge lover of soft furry toys, and when she invited the whole group of us friends to her house to celebrate Chinese New Year, she will tell us some of the names she had given to her cute furry things. I was *like* wow, even soft toys have names, how wierd and nice. I thought only pets have such privilege and love from the owner, now I am wrong 🙂 But how does she remember all the names she has given to so many soft furry animals? That is a tricky one, Unless she calls them everyday “Good morning teddy, good morning sleepy”. Then become a habit and so naturally cannot forget the names. LOL

Sorry for not updating my blog for the past 2 days. Trying to settle the Yahoo Group as well as clear some work. I see many of you asking about LASIK. I went for the traditional method and paid a bit more because the doctor had a reputation within the circle and was highly recommended.

The Canon Pro digital camera must be big, but I never see leh. I am standing to the left-back facing the stage. I think you all might be in the midst of the crowd of Joanne’s fans at the back facing the banner, when Joanne is stading there and posing for the cameras.
And to give you all a clue, I am wearing a black T with yellow fringing sides, and a dark blue jeans, with a cock-hairstyle. Oh, and I have backpacking a dark blue schoolbag, since I come from campus NUS.

yeap touching on Joanne’s post, I did some research myself too. Basically there’s 2 methods for Lasik.
1) Blade
2) Bladeless with involves laser
The 2 methods is about the same whereby the process involves lifting up the cornea flap or something like that and they do up your eyes. So the difference is either using the blade or the bladeless method.
Anyway during the operation (minor ops) all of us are able to see the whole process however you will not feel any pain due to injection. With blade operation the average cost is about S$2400 to S$2700. Bladeless is about S$3400.
However all the procedures and cost is much to what I’ve researched and know. It may or may not be correct. Better is still to clarify with the expertise. Beside’s Joanne’s recommendation, there’s still other 2 medical centres you can try out.
1) Singapore Medical Group Lasik at Paragon Medical Centre (Paragon Medical Tower within Paragon shopping centre)
2) Camden Medical Centre along Orchard Boulevard near junction of Grange Road (somewhere beside Tanglin Shopping Centre)
I believed payments wise they accept full payment and installments and I do believe installments by credit card they’ll absorb the interest meaning to say 0% interest if you pay by installments through credit cards. But please do check with the medical centres.
On top is just my suggestion, I repeat I may not be correct. Just want to help those who are curious 🙂

i noted that too…i once heard a eye specialist said that despite the risk involved is pretty low, is still a risk and they depend on their eyes to make a living thus they dare not risk.
however i do see many successful case but i dunno how things will be 20-30 yrs down the road…not sure abt side ineffect in longer terms.
