非常感谢所有向我恭贺被提名红星大奖“最佳女主角”奖项的同事和朋友。能够入围对我来说是很大的鼓励，因为这验证了我终于小步小步地踏上戏路了。
令我感到高兴的是，今年被提名的“玉珠” 和去年被提名的“纯纯” （《宝贝父女兵》）的角色截然不同，也是我身为一名演员希望能够掌握的。能够在演绎任何角色时让观众信服，摆脱薇秀的阴影，就是我最终的目标。
去年很多人认为我性格活泼，演“纯纯”并没有什么惊喜，不过今年能成功让大家看到我，对有些人来说，出乎意料女人的一面，只能感谢敏洋监制对我的信任，让我挑起“玉珠”这个角色。
无论胜或负都不是最关键的，因为我相信时机要成熟。如果时机未成熟，就算交到我手中，我也扛不起，反而得拖着走。如果时机到了，就算没有十指紧握，也无人能拿走。
我庆幸自己能够继续投入工作，继续打好基础。
恭喜 《小娘惹》所有被提名的同事和所入围的其他奖项。4月 26 日就让大家和我一起庆祝迟一天的生日吧！ 哈哈！

I’ve watched your 三菜一汤 on Tues! Great job done! You talked about water retentation (水肿）when eating too much salty food. I’ve problems with water retentation, like flabby arms and thighs. I have tried lifting weights and going for jogging but there is not much difference afterwards…
Any suggestions? Like change of diet plans or smth?

I don’t am not qualified to provide any solution to that though. Perhaps you want to seek advice from a doctor/dietician/nutritionist/personal trainer? There’s a difference between water and fat, although women are prone to water retention, if u’re unusually swollen you might want to do a body check-up to make sure it’s not thyroid problem or anything more complicated.

我觉得二妹的角色太闷了，因为目前看到27 集不知道她后面有什么发展，但她几乎太完美了，好人一个又整天被周围的欺负，看久了有一点腻。我最喜欢的角色，到目前为止是Kalvin。他是个非常不完美的人，说他坏又不真的坏，说他好，也不太对，从他的家庭背景可以了解他做一切的出发点也可以原谅他利用的奸诈手段。而且他真的很有魅力，竟然可以让这么规矩的大妹爱上他。所以嘛，男人不坏，女人不爱。哈哈！！

You don’t have to be bothered about what others say, because at the end of the day, the one you’re accounting to is not them, but to yourself. If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to be afraid of. So, don’t be affected by these untrue facts that these people are trying to say to pull you down. The more they try to pull you down, the more you shouldn’t be pulled down and in fact, you should grow even stronger to show them that you’re not a pushover.
Or rather, you don’t even have to be bothered about them. Don’t waste your energy on people who are not worth it, but instead channel your energy on other things that are more worth it, like getting well (yes, I heard you’re sick girl, take care okay.), or getting into your role well.
Things always happen for a reason, but some things are better left unknown. Don’t think so much & wonder why are they leaving such comments, because you’ll only make yourself more miserable. Instead, think of more beautiful things like how many more people that you meet on the street will say that you did a good job in portraying your role, or that you have improved.

yes, been sick and well and sick again. It’s the weather that has been making me feel quite bad, hot one moment and pouring another, it’s hot and humid but the air feels cold and damp, so that has gotten me quite sick. Haven’t really been up to blogging because I’m feeling under the weather and uninspired.

Hey Joanne, 自从看了你在“小娘惹”的演出，我一直很想留言给你，不过又告诉自己还是看到大结局再写，但是到了1月工作又忙翻了，然后又懒惰，一拖再拖….
今天在知道你因 玉珠 这个角色入围了“最佳女主角”我很替你高兴。跟去年你凭“宝贝父女兵”而入围让我感到很纳闷是那么大的对比。
能够看到你以那种内敛的方式诠释“玉珠”，让我很是惊喜，看得开心之余，也很为你开心。相信你花了很多心思与下了不少功夫。你做的功课也不会白费的。同时我个人认为此剧的导演们对你的演出的帮助也不小吧。
我很喜欢 玉珠 刚出场到悲剧发生之前的那些戏。不是说之后的表现不好，而是太多人在称赞了，所以我反而想告诉你我多么喜欢 “玉珠”前段时候那些害羞、难过、温柔的表现，都是符合这个人物的性格，一点点，微微的，恰到好处的，这样的表演并不简单。
相比你在演出大家说接近你本身活泼性格的“纯纯”时那种很over很‘总是说不上哪里不对劲’的表现，这次的“玉珠”实在太讨人喜欢了。
我还记得“宝贝”里某一幕“纯纯”连一个 稍微不开心 的表情都演得很over让我很想晕倒的那一次，之后确实对“玉珠”抱有担心。不过你的表现实在是太叫人意外了，你的用心这次大家都看得到。这样子入围“最佳女主角”才能让人信服，让人觉得是实至名归，真心为你高兴。
无论这次你获奖与否，我都希望你继续有更好的表现，因为进步的空间还是很大的。你一定知道你应该达到的不只是获不获奖如此而已，而是力求达到曾慧芬那种 毫无‘演’的痕迹的一种境界。如果那个暂时比较远，我们就先尝试往黄碧仁的境界前进，或是向云，许美珍…. 等等，那种无论演什么角色都可以很‘convincing’的境界。
