It's the first time I've ever seen such a massive crowd at any roadshow. Thank you all for loving "Little Nyonya" and the fervent support. Special thanks go out to the artiste managers, security guards and all colleagues from MediaCorp who helped maintain order and protect us from the swarming crowd. It was quite an experience!!

Did u know that the tiles of Compass Point cracked and popped out due to the overwhelming crowd? Didn’t know such thing would actually happen. I guess the management must be jumping mad when they knew abt it.
Hello~ not sure if you heard it, but the roadshaw caused the tiles in compass point to crack, not those small ones, but something like a mini earthquake. Anw, its shows how good the respond is to the show. Btw you look great in that kebaya? or whatever you call it.

Hey Jo, I made a startling discovery. Even though the last episode of Little Nyonya hasnt been out yet, I am somewhat beginning to suspect that the show had borrowed some elements from the 1980s Japanese drama known as “Oshin”, which I watched with my mum when I was in kindergarten… and I got a rather bad feeling abt this. Not meant as a spoiler…

bcos of this drama, businesses relating to peranakan culture, like restaurants for example, have experienced a boom in their business. so if the drama is good, and some more has cultural background, it will definitely boost these businesses, and also some related things, like family bonding and also a good way to learn mandarin for some.
so realli, mediacorp should do more of such quality dramas, as there has been a lack of it for quite some time. and i hope that future dramas can improve and be a worthy competitor of TVB dramas.

Although the drama series, “The Little Nyonya” had caught my attention to watch every night, however i found that the ending isnt good enough. I wish there’s more drama series to be shown which similar to this genre. Story-plot is well-ployed, pure original as not similiar to HK or Taiwan drama series. FYI, i dont watch TV too frequently, i will watch unless there’s a very good story synopsis. Thank you for your acting too. cheers.

Do you have any photographs of the yellow peranakan blouse (kebaya?) you wore during the roadshow? You look lovely in it. I’m curious as to why the embroidery is especially elaborate on this blouse compared to those of your co-stars’ . The embroidered details are featured on the front, the back and up the sleeves, aren’t they? Is there any aesthetic significance between the elaborate application of embroidery on this blouse and the role you played? (I’m only a doctor, not an anthropologist so, please overlook my ignorance in this aspect)
Sadly, I couldn’t get a clear view of the beautiful details be it from the TV drama itself or the pictures on the net. For example, was it a pheonix or a peacock that was embroidered on the blouse?
