一早起身，到酒店楼下的咖啡厅吃早餐，它有两家任我们选，不过食物大同小异，只是环境有点不同。第一天去的，食物比较好吃，但是环境很阴暗，没有早上的感觉。我突然很想到澳洲去，因为我喜欢大清早起来可以在露天咖啡厅，慢慢吃早餐，喝咖啡，很写意，很自在。我几个月前到日本是有这样的机会，但是早上的东京还蛮忙碌的，大家也没有什么闲情逸致，所以还是不同。
想起几年前和阿武到澳洲拍杂志的时候，每天早上都会有热巧克力和香喷喷的面包，虽然大家都在赶 （因为要去拍的地方很多），但因为车程的时间很长，所以在车上吃也不差。有时要拍的地方正好是要介绍那儿的早餐，所以更好了，我们一边拍照，顺便吃早餐。这里翻了张旧照片让大家看。。。
就是这样啦！当时还真不好意思，因为大家在工作，我们反而可以一石二鸟。真的好幸福！
还是说回曼谷之旅吧，要到酒店的咖啡厅吃早餐呢，我们会有个“Occupied“的牌让我们放在桌上，让大家知道那是我们的位子。
吃之前一定要先喝一杯自来水。。。
我最爱的。。。不加奶，不加糖的热咖啡。
喝了之后，马上精神起来！
早上的我是精力充沛。。。大概算是个morning person吧！嘿嘿！

before u went back to complete yr studies i find that your acting was good but since you came back i find something missing in your acting.
many times i really can’t feel or maybe i should say i felt you should do better than what you are doing.
you may not have time but i really hope that you can try to find some time to catch some HK drama cos i believe it will help you to do even better.

Thanks for your comment, acting is an ever-learning craft that I try to get better at with every new project. Different people have different take on what acting should be like, and I try my best to incorporate professional advice with audience feedback, so I do appreciate your words. It would help though if you can let me know which drama have you watched recently that you feel I could have done better, and perhaps raise an example of a scene you saw.
Just one thing to clarify, I didn’t go back to complete my studies, I was studying all the while during my acting career.

Yes Yiying, i also think that Felicia Chin improved alot, and Joanne 似乎 ‘開倒車’ or ‘停滯不前’. But hey, Joanne, don’t get dishearten okay, i can tell that you put alot of effort in your work, but acting is really 一門深奧的學問, sometimes it might need abit of natural gift,
like for example 許美珍, i can still remember her good acting in her VERY FIRST show 愛情乒乓球, and until now i think she’s one the best actresses in Mediacorp alongside 向雲, 黃碧仁, 林梅嬌 etc.
But kinda pity is that Cythia Koh is quite underrated! 😡
For an example of 後天努力型 i would say is Ivy Lee. She simply cannot act during her first few shows. She took MANY years before her suddenly seemed to
開竅 and started to improve. Only until the 2nd time she won “Best Actress” then i feel that she 受之無愧. :p
The few HK actresses Yiying listed above are whom I admire too . And among them I also feel there’s ‘天才型’ and ‘後天努力型’.
Charmain Sheh is one of the latter. She got terrible feedbacks in her first few shows, but look at how good she is now.
Maybe Yiying can list you a few TVB serials later. I for one would probably list you old shows.
I wonder if you have watched “金枝欲孽” (War And Beauty) or not? If you didn’t, you MUST watch it!! 😛
And you must watch how good 張可頤 (Maggie Ho) is! Though 鄧翠雯 (如妃) was the one who stole the limelight. But both are really good! And then of course there’s Charmaine Sheh and Gigi Lai in the show too.
This show is just fantastic, no matter the acting or the storyline.
As for my little bit of 拙見 through many years of watching tv, (hahahahaa), i think sometimes :
“Less is more.”

What a hot day today isn’t it??I went for a picnic at East Coast today with my family..we woke up at around 7.30 and left the house at 8am.It was fine in the morning and it was very cooling,but it became terribly hot at noon,even after we made the shelter,it was still very hot….did u went fliming outdoor today,if yes u probably had a hot day too,hahas..But at least i had fun..drink lots of water,and take care..!:)

If her acting is no good, then how come she is nominated for her role in “Like Father, Like Daughter” , right?
She should be admired for her ability to cope with her acting jobs as well as her studies during her university days.
To Jing Wen:
It is not necessary to be a model before becoming actress.
You just sign up for Star Search, star idol, etc. and undergo many trainings like learn how to speak well, remember the script, as well as learning how to get used to different environment. For example, you have to get used to location where there are no proper toilets,etc.
You have to withstand long hours of filming..
You have to cope with competitions from other artistes,etc.
Don’t offend film crews or extras because they can bring you trouble by spreading rumours, ‘sabo’ your dressings, so that you cannot perform in your roles.
娛樂圈本身就已經是一個容易讓人迷失的環境, 如果還要被一堆的奉承模糊自己的焦點, 看不清自己真正的表現, 那要怎麼進步呢?
鼓勵的話由其他的fans來說, 逆耳的忠言我來說, 我不介意做這個 “醜人”, 只要Joanne不會覺得我是在 澆冷水 就好.

try watching “wars of in laws 2″…it was a silly and funny show but a touching one towards the end. myolie wu managed to bring out her character in there very well..pretty convincing. i’m sure you will improve too.

so sorry, i always thought that you went back to study cos there was a stage(few years back) u did interview abt u going to spend more time on yr studies etc. can’t remember clearly, all i can remember was i saw u less on the screen. hehehe….
pardon me, nowadays i selectively choose MCS show cos some of the show the story line wasn’t that gd and usuali will forget as soon as the show finish.
ooo…. u ask me to tell u which particular show and scene i think this is really hard but i try.
there’s these few show that i watch i thought for yr capability u shld do better but i was abit dissapointed that during some scene i didn’t get that kind of impact from yr acting, like i say something is missing.
eg. there’s another show i can’t remember the show title but u act as a nurse and one of the scene u were crying and u were with HK actor (姜大伟）.
i remember either during an interview/somewhere i saw u were saying that sometimes some of scene when u cry even after the take/show u will still be crying but honestly though i can see u cry but i can’t emotionally feel it and i felt that the crying wasn’t right, perhaps need more of yr own training and watching some HK drama to see how they do it.(i think as a actress it is important to let us audience feel it and not only see it, not sure if u agree with this).
other show like 黄金路 and 迷图 there are quite a number of scene i thought u shld do better, i can’t remember which scene but some crying scene and some scene that you were in the office with 刘谦益.
sometimes back i saw yr old movie, i thought if when u were so new u can act pretty well u shld fly now but i just have not see you cross/break that “line” yet.
it could be you “不够放“ and facial expression not rich enough.
i know u definitely can do it! like wat Joelle mention Ivy Lee she wasn’t good at acting initially but she manage to cross/break that “line” where she started to improve.
charmaine sheh, too was not a gd actress she was critisize alot but look at her now!
as a viewer i can only share with you how i feel esp. i really like yr personality, you always give me a feeling that you are very nice, easy going and Real (u know what i mean some ppl are very fake, lolx).
so sorry i am really not gd at expressing myself but this is the best that i can tell you. maybe you can watch some of yr own show and compare with the HK actress acting and perhaps you can come up with something suits u best or even better. besides learning frm others i believe mirror is a very gd teacher too, that’s what i always heard from some actors they always practise alot infront of a mirror.
p.s not that you are no gd but in my opinion u shld be far better than what u are now just that you have yet find the key to open it!
