My family doesn’t celebrate Christmas, so here I am, on Christmas eve, spending some quiet time alone at home with my book and a dvd. The only thing missing would be the snow.

Well, I got to do some last minute preparatory work before my test on the 26th, a day after Christmas. School’s such a spoiler… hahahas. Merry Christmas to you first of all! Oh I will be celebrating Christmas in the Heart Of God Chruch. They have a list of activities and events planned there such as the live band, prayer and sermon adn all kinds of sumptious food!!
Next, maybe to my cousin’s house for barbecue which is at his chalet and not forgetting to visit the Escape Theme Park adn Wild Wild Wet..
LAstly, I will definitely stay tune to the tv channel8 at 9pm to watch 《黄金路〉。This is die die must watch one .Lolx..

I’m watching National Treasure on Dvd before catching the 2nd movie on the cinema screens later this week. Haha how I wish there would be snow too, Boo. Well hope you enjoy reading the book and watching the dvd. =]

During these few days, I’ve managed to meet up with friends and attended xmas celebrations. Though tiring, I would say that I do appreciate the effort of those who organize such events! This a also a good time to catch up with everyone before the year ends.
Time really flies doesn’t it? Hope you’ve received many many gifts from your loved ones. More important, I guess would be the gift of unconditional love and care from one’s family~

Spending some quality time at home is better than being out and not knowing where to go or what to do. Well, technically, not really QUALITY time, as you spent your night with your book and DVD. But I would call it a quality time, as long as you could sit down and do things that you would remember for a long time. 🙂
As for me, I don’t celebrate Christmas either. YouTube doesn’t sound that bad now, eh? Playing Christmas songs and lighting up some candles would help to bring up the mood a little bit. But believe me, you wouldn’t want any snow on your Christmas. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you too! For me, I spend my Christmas eve with my close JC friends at someone’s house, which we slangingly call ourselves the JC gang. Have a wonderfully full dinner due to some misplanning, and so we have so many food, when someone is already cooking. Suddenly, someone broughy 3 roast chickens, and a big choco-log cake. That is too much food for us to bear, so we take it slowly. Roast chickens / sometimes turkeys is a traditional custom for Christmas season, for reasons I m not sure.
And kid not, instead of playing Mahjong, which is our tradition for almost every year, we play a new game, called wierdo Scrabble. I don’t know the real name of that game so I call it like this, but it plays a bit like Scrabble, except the most fun part which is different from Scrabble is you can build words on top of words already formed. Challenging right? Wonder if you have played it before?
We ended by watching DVD movies all the way to the morning, but I could almost not keep my eyes open, even with the help of strong coffee. I am not a good night-owl, haiz, so usually I dun dawn overnight to study unless there is no choice. I think the only way to keep awake while watching shows is to choose some light-hearted comedian shows, that require little thinking to get the joke, and laugh all the way as you watch. Hee. 🙂

My advice is simple and cheap; unless you have the budget to spend, the best, most effective exercise and also cheap option, is to jog for at least 2-3 km (can increase as your stamina improve) around your neighborhood or park every day. If it is too tedious for those who never exercise a lot, and decide to start exercising, I recommend 3-4 times a week, until you feel confortable with it. And it naurally becomes your routine in your life; you realize suddenly you can never live without it. 🙂 Hey it works for me, now I can never live without jogging; it becomes part of me.
Running or jogging improves your physical health two ways: one is your cardio-vascular endurance. You realize you can breath more easily, and doesn’t get breathless easily, since your cardio endurance can let your body take in more physical stress, and more air volume (intake of oxygen and exhalation). Second, your leg luscle endurance goes up, and your leg power endurance improves. You realize you can walk for long distances without your leg muscles aching that fast. 🙂
So I recommend running as the best form of exercise. Of course, there are other options, for you all to name. 🙂
